Sports Pitch Design Build Limited has been established to help educational establishments and local authorities develop new or upgrade and improve existing sports pitches.
Bruce and David Weller manage a successful landscape architectural practice and golf course design company focusing on maximising the potential of sports facilities, including working with schools, local authorities and golf clubs.
Bruce Weller is a qualified landscape designer and horticulturalist, with over 18 years of experience in the golf course design industry, initially at Bernhard Langer's design partnership. He is a senior member and executive director of the European Institute of Golf Course Architects (EIGCA) and regularly lectures on aspects of golf course design.
David Weller has a career in the sports and leisure industry spanning 16 years. He is a graduate of Geography, Plant Biology and Electronic Surveying, and is experienced in the use of a variety of computer design tools including AutoCAD, Pro Surveyor Plus and World Construction Set 3D rendering software. He is also a skilled artist able to work in a variety of media. David is also a specialist in planning submissions and environmental assessment.
The team also includes Stephen Ridgway a Graduate Member of the EIGCA with an MSc in Golf Course Architecture and past experience as a Geo-environmental Engineer (BSc Environmental Geoscience).
